The invention relates to a wheel suspension assembly for the wheels of a motor vehicle which are driven. The wheels are each fastened to a locating face (2.1) of a brake body (2) in a detachable manner by means of wheel bolts (4). The brake body is rotationally mounted on a suspension assembly connected to the vehicle frame or vehicle body such that it can pivot and is also connected to a drive shaft. The end of the drive shaft on the side of the wheel is directly connected to the brake body (2) via a shaft section (1.2) having a polygonal outer contour (1.3) in order to provide a connection to the brake body (2), said connection being constructively simple and free of play in both an axial and as well as in a radial direction. In addition, the drive shaft is configured with a cylindrical shaft section (1.6), said section serving as a seat for the antifriction bearing (5), for the connection to said polygonal shaft section (1.2).

L'invention concerne une suspension de roue destinée aux roues motrices d'un véhicule automobile. Ces roues sont fixées respectivement par des boulons de roue (4), de manière amovible, sur une surface d'appui (2.1) d'un corps de frein (2). Ce dernier est monté rotatif, par l'intermédiaire d'au moins un roulement (5), sur une suspension reliée de manière pivotante avec le châssis ou la carrosserie du véhicule, et est relié avec un arbre de transmission. Dans le but d'assurer avec le corps de frein (2) une liaison de structure simple et sans jeu aussi bien en sens axial qu'en sens radial, l'extrémité côté roue de l'arbre de transmission est reliée directement avec le corps de frein (2) par l'intermédiaire d'une section d'arbre (1.2) de contour extérieur polygonal (1.3). D'autre part, l'arbre de transmission présente, à la suite de cette section d'arbre (1.2) polygonal, une section d'arbre (1.6) cylindrique servant de siège au roulement (5).
