A wheel disk and a wheel incorporating the wheel disk are configured to accommodate a vehicle hub without a center hole, thereby not requiring a separate center cap. Specifically, the wheel disk includes a contoured face plate and bolt holes within the face plate for mounting the wheel disk to a vehicle. The contoured face plate includes a center region that is located within an area defined by the bolt holes and that is integral and continuous with the contoured face plate. The wheel disk can be bonded to a rim to form a wheel.
