A clamping assembly for retaining a wheeled article having a forward and rear section in an upright position which comprises an upper clamping assembly and a lower catch assembly. The lower catch assembly is fastened to a wall and is adapted to receive the forward section of the article. The upper clamp assembly is fastened to the wall at a position selected so that the rear of the section of the article engages the clamp assembly as the received forward section is pivoted toward the wall. The upper clamp assembly comprises a support fastened to a wall and a catch that displaces on the support between a retaining position against the rear section of the article and a releasing position in which the catch assembly allows the article to pivot toward and away from the wall.
