A structural assembly, which may be used in a wide frame or cross brace assembly of a wheelchair comprises an elongate member engaged in a receiving formation of a receiving member, wherein said elongate member has an external cross-sectional shape which is non-circular and includes circumferentially spaced portions of a circumscribing circle with remaining portions therebetween which lie within said circle, and the receiving formation is of an internal cross-sectional shape which cooperates at least with the remaining portions of said external cross-sectional shape of the elongate member, to prevent relative movement between the receiving member and elongate member about the longitudinal axis of the latter.
L'invention concerne un ensemble structural, que l'on peut utiliser dans un large châssis ou ensemble croisillon d'un fauteuil roulant, qui comporte un élément allongé en prise dans une zone de réception d'un élément de réception. L'élément allongé présente une coupe transversale externe non circulaire et comporte des parties circonférentiellement espacées d'un cercle circonscrit avec, entre elles, des parties restantes se situant à l'intérieur dudit cercle. En outre, la zone de réception présente une coupe transversale interne coopérant au moins avec les parties restantes de ladite coupe transversale externe de l'élément allongé, ce qui empêche le déplacement relatif entre l'élément de réception et l'élément allongé autour de l'axe longitudinal de ce dernier.
