The invention relates to an axle guide consisting of a fibre-synthetic material composite for guiding an axle in the running gear of a rail vehicle, in particular a high-speed rail vehicle. Said guide has two end sections (11, 11') for connecting the guide (1) both to the axle and to the chassis (2) of the running gear in a manner resistant to torsion and a central section (12) located therebetween, which has a longitudinal axis (13) aligned with the direction of travel (X) and a cross-section that is at least partially flat in the vertical direction (Z). The guide (1) has at least one integrated flexural joint (14) with a vertical flexural axis (15) and enables a rotational degree of freedom, which protects the wheel bearing from damaging flexural stresses, to be achieved simply without the need for an additional joint component. The inventive guide also benefits from all the advantages of the glass fibre- synthetic material composite, such as adjustable rigidity that can be reproduced with narrow tolerances and that is defined almost independently of the temperature, resistance to wear, electric insulation, excellent material damping properties and favourable behaviour if a malfunction occurs.

L'invention concerne un guide en matériau composite de matière synthétique et de fibres, destiné à guider l'essieu d'un train de roulement d'un véhicule ferroviaire, notamment d'un train à grande vitesse. Ce guide comporte deux sections terminales (11, 11'), pour la solidarisation instantanée du guide (1) d'une part sur l'essieu et d'autre part sur le cadre (2) du train de roulement, et une section médiane (12) disposée entre ces deux sections terminales, cette section médiane ayant un axe longitudinal (13) orienté sensiblement dans le sens de la marche (X) et une section transversale façonnée au moins partiellement plate dans le sens vertical (Z). Ledit guide (1), qui comprend au moins un joint articulé de flexion (14) intégré à axe de flexion (15) vertical, est de construction simple, sans élément d'articulation supplémentaire, et dispose d'une liberté de mouvement rotatif qui élimine les charges de flexion néfastes du roulement de roue. En outre, le guide selon l'invention présente tous les avantages qu'offre le matériau composite de matière synthétique et de fibres, tels que la rigidité réglable, dont la définition ne tient presque pas compte de la température et qui est reproductible avec de faibles tolérances, la résistance à l'usure, l'isolation électrique, l'amortissement du matériau élevé et le bon comportement en cas de défaillance.
