- 26 - Whole Tire Disposal System Abstract An apparatus and process for the decomposition of waste tires while removing and recovering important segments of the oils and carbon black residues of com- bustion through a system of sequentially arranged tanks through which the gases of combustion are caused to travel a tortuous path. The fan that draws the gases of combustion through the intake tanks then blows the partially-cleaned gases through a system of sequentially arranged exhaust tanks that completes the removal of carbon black and also filters obnoxious and deleterious materials from the gases prior to discharge to the atmosphere.
