Abstract of the Disclosure A wide dispersion incendiary device such as artillery round, bomb, or grenade in which a high explosive charge within a casing has imbedded therein a plurality of hollow metallic objects such as balls. The hollows communicating with the exterior of the objects and being filled with incendiary material which is ignited by detonation of the high explosive. The incendiary material is a mixture of silicone rubber, powdered magnesium and an oxidizing agent.
