A wig base (11) consists of a first base (12) and a second base (13); the first base (12) comprises a front portion (12a), side portions (12b, 12c), a back portion (12d) and a top portion (12e) and is formed into protruding curved shape similar to the head shape of a wearer; the second base (13) is extended in a band shape from the back portion (12d) to right and left side portions (12b, 12c) along the outer edge of the first base at the rear side of the first base (12) to fix the back portion (13a) of the second base (13) to the back edge (12D) of the first base (12) and to constitute the right and left side edges (12B, 12C) of the first base (12) and the right and left side portions (13B, 13C) of the second base (13) so that they can be attached to or detached from by means of locking fittings (16a, 16b); and the head can be washed while the wig is worn by rolling up the front side of the wig from the front portion (12a) of the first base (12).
