Elle consiste à mesurer l'assiette (118) au niveau du poisson (117) et à commander à partir de cette mesure un vérin d'asservisse- ment (106) qui vient modifier l'inclinaison de la flèche pour maintenir cette assiette constante. Elle permet de diminuer les à-coups de l'effort de traction applique au câble qui remor- que le poisson.
