An electrical energy generating system is mounted on a structure and includes a ducted shroud facing the wind and concentrating its flow through Coanda effect to inlet mouths each directed to a respective one of a plurality of small centrifugal or axial turbines connected to brushless DC generators. The air exits each turbine axially and is directed to flow along the wall, merging with the natural vertical airflow and is discarded at the top of the structure where another deflector creates a negative pressure helping the residual airflow to merge with wind blowing over the top. The efficiency of generation is proportional to the difference between the front wind pressure and the back air pressure. While each wind cell generates only a few tens of watts, the array can generate a large amount of electricity to be used for the structure and/or to be made available to a grid.
L'invention concerne un système générant de l'énergie électrique monté sur une structure et comprenant une protection carénée orientée face au vent et concentrant sa circulation par l'effet Coanda vers des embouchures d'entrée, chacune étant dirigée vers l'une respective d'une pluralité de petites turbines centrifuges ou axiales reliées à des générateurs à courant continu sans balai. L'air sort de chaque turbine de façon axiale et est dirigé de manière à circuler le long de la paroi, en se mélangeant ainsi à l'écoulement d'air vertical naturel, et est rejeté au niveau supérieur de la structure où un autre déflecteur crée une pression négative favorisant le mélange de l'écoulement d'air résiduel avec le vent soufflant sur la partie supérieure. L'efficacité de la génération est proportionnelle à la différence entre la pression de vent avant et la pression d'air arrière. Tandis que chaque cellule aérogénératrice ne génère que quelques dizaines de watts, la matrice peut générer une grande quantité d'électricité à utiliser pour la structure et/ou à mettre à la disposition d'une grille.
