ABSTRACT There is disclosed a wind turbine having an improved turbine wind receptacle for utilizing a maximum of the available energy carried by a low speed wind stream. The improved receptacle structure provides a generally parabolic cross-section and a continuously arcuate interior surface. The parabolic cross- section permits maximum efficient recovery and control of the energy contained in wind streams and accordingly permits the use of the energy for other purposes.
