ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The conventional windmill is ill adapted to following the wind while still transmitting power from the blades at the top of the mast to the bottom of the mast. This problem is overcome by means of a windmill including an arcuate mast, the bottom end of which is rotatable around a vertical axis, and the substantially horizontal top end of which carries blades. A cable for rotation with the blades extends downwardly through the mast to the bottom end thereof, so that power produced by rotation of the blades can be tapped at the bottom end of the mast.
