ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A frame for a window consists of a plurality of glazed sashes, each glazed sash includ- ing a window pane. There are an outer glazed sash, an inner, room-side glazed sash and an intermediate glazed sash and at least one air channel. The inner glazed sash and the intermediate glazed sash are connected together so as to form a combined assembly capable of installation in the frame as a unit. The assembly includes an electric heating element pro- vided on the room-side window pane of the assembly. A reflective layer is provided upon a pane surface of the window assembly which surface is situated out- wardly of the heating element to reflect back in a room-side direction heat radiation coming outward from the heating element.
