A window assembly (1000) having a window frame (16) and at least one primary sash (12) mounted in the window frame. The primary sash has a plurality of sash members forming a primary sash perimeter and a first glazing panel (30) mounted in the primary sash perimeter. At least one secondary sash (1100) is pivotally attached directly to the primary sash perimeter along an interior surface thereof so that the secondary sash (1100) is rotatably movable between a closed position and an open position relative to the primary sash (12) . The secondary sash (1100) has a plurality of secondary sash members forming a secondary sash structure and a second glazing panel mounted (42) in the secondary sash perimeter. An air chamber (62) is located between the primary sash and the secondary sash that is substantially closed to the interior of the building structure. At least one accessory channel (67) is locating along at least one side of the secondary sash members.

La présente invention concerne un ensemble fenêtre comportant un cadre de fenêtre et au moins un châssis principal monté dans le cadre de fenêtre. Une lame d'air est prévue entre le châssis principal et le châssis secondaire, laquelle est substantiellement fermée sur l'intérieur de la structure du bâtiment. Au moins une rainure auxiliaire est prévue le long d'au moins un côté des éléments du châssis secondaire.
