ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A trough for collecting moisture condensate on window panes is provided, the trough comprising a channel member of U-shaped cross-section having end caps secured to the ends thereof. The end caps and trough are adhered to the bottom portion of a pane of a window. At least one of the end caps has channel drainage means associated therewith for removal of moisture from the channel member. By making the channel member of flexible plastic, a trough of a length suitable for any appropriate pane may be constructed in situ. Moisture on the pane is collected and removed before it has a chance to freeze or soak into the lower part of the window frame.
