A window frame structure primarily shaped in oval or circular elevation as a continuous peripheral member arranged for mounting a glass sealed pane element in a window opening in a wall. The structure includes a molded foam inner frame member and a vacuum formed vinyl outer frame member which are fastened together to form a combined structure for attachment to the wall for supporting the glass pane element in the opening. The outer vinyl frame includes a channel shaped peripheral wall portion defining an inwardly facing surface for surrounding an outer edge of the pane, a flange connected around an interior edge of the wall portion and extending inwardly therefrom to define an interior stop for the pane and a nailing fin connected around an exterior edge of the wall portion and extending outwardly therefrom for nailing to the exterior surface of the wall. A flexible stop in the form of a continuous loop of L-shaped cross section holds the pane in place by frictional contact between the stop and the inwardly facing surface of the wall portion. The inner frame member includes a portion extending into and fastened to the channel and a portion defining a face surface on the interior of the frame which covers the flange.
