A window operator system includes a window operator having an electrically controlled drive for moving a window between open and closed positions. A drive control module electrically controls the drive and locally commands movement of the window and develops an electrical signal in response to a movement command, the electrical signal being supplied to the drive to move the window to the commanded position. An improvement comprises a remote control module separate from the drive control module including open and close switches and an output circuit in response to the switches developing a remote open or close command comprising an electrical signal being supplied to the control module. The drive control module further develops the electrical drive signal also in response to the remote open or close command received from the remote control module.
