ABSTRUCT OF THE DISCLOSURE A window structure is used for a vehicle body including upper and lower frame members, right and left side pillar members and corner members defining a substantially rectangular window opening portion. A projecting edge is integrally formed with the upper and lower frame members, right and left side pillar members and corner members. The projecting edge is formed a peripheral edge of the window opening portion over an entire circumference of the window opening portion. An inner wall is formed at an inner periphery of the peripheral edge of said window opening portion. The inner wall has a groove along the entire circumference of the window opening portion. A glass retainer is implanted in the groove. With such an arrangement, a peripheral portion of a window glass is pressingly clamped between the glass retainer and the projecting edge through a seal rubber, to thereby provide sufficient rigidity and mechanical strength against various loads imposed to the structure.
