A window surround assembly is provided for a motor vehicle door frame defining a window opening. The window surround assembly includes a fixed windowpane adapted to be disposed within a portion of the window opening. An upper reveal extends along a top edge of the fixed windowpane and is adapted to be mounted to a portion of the motor vehicle door frame. An outer belt extends along a bottom edge of the fixed windowpane and is adapted to be mounted to a portion of the motor vehicle door frame. A window encapsulation is molded to an outer periphery of the fixed windowpane to secure the upper reveal and the outer belt to the fixed windowpane. A cap is fixedly secured to and extends along the upper reveal and the outer belt to provide the window surround assembly with a seamless, joint-free appearance.
Un ensemble d'entourage de fenêtre est prévu pour un cadre de fenêtre de véhicule à moteur définissant une ouverture de fenêtre. L'ensemble d'entourage de fenêtre comprend une vitre fixe apte à être disposée à l'intérieur d'une partie de l'ouverture de fenêtre. Un cadre de vitre supérieur s'étend le long d'une bordure supérieure de la vitre fixe et est apte à être monté sur une partie du cadre de portière de véhicule à moteur. Une ceinture extérieure s'étend le long d'une bordure inférieure de la vitre fixe et est apte à être montée sur une partie du cadre de la portière de véhicule à moteur. Une encapsulation de fenêtre est moulée sur une périphérie externe de la vitre fixe pour fixer le cadre de vitre supérieur et la ceinture externe à la vitre fixe. Un capuchon est assujetti de façon fixe sur et s'étend le long du cadre de vitre supérieur et de la ceinture extérieure pour doter l'ensemble d'entourage de fenêtre d'un aspect sans joint, sans soudure.
