ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Conventional methods of attaching an additional window light to an existing window assembly includes two-faced tape, permanent attachment by fasteners and magnetic attachment means in which steel strips are adhesively secured to the existing window frame and magnetic attachment means is provided upon the additional window light frame. This causes many problems including deterioration of the adhesive, the mitreing of corners and the like. The present invention includes ferro- magnetic plastic strips snap-engageable with a mounting frame secured to the existing window frame and steel strips extruded with the surrounding frame of the further window light assembly. Handle portions may also be included to facilitate removal and installation of the additional window light and trim strips may be snap- engaged to the frame of the additional window light or may be formed integrally therewith. Ease of cutting and assembly on site or custom formatting is facilitated.
