The window unit (10) is formed by a window (11) and by a frame (12) with a specific frame profile. The frame (12) is formed, as a compression molding, by a primary profile part (14) and by a secondary profile part (15). The primary profile part (14) has three profile sections (16 . . . 18 ), of which a f first prof file part (16) is adjacent to the edge (13) of the window (12) [sic] , and of which the second and the third profile sections (17; 18) each adjoin one side of the first profile section (16) and are each adjacent to that surface region of the window (11) which borders the edge (13) of the window (11). The primary profile part (14) is produced from a material which does not bond with the window (11), but whose dimensional stability is of such a magnitude as to ensure positive locking between the frame (12) and the window (11). The secondary profile part (15) is arranged in a frame-profile region which serves for the abutment of the window unit (10) against a structural part, and is produced from a material which is of lower dimensional stability than the material of the primary shaped [sic] part (14).

L'ensemble vitre (10) présenté est formé par une vitre (11) et un cadre (12) d'un profil déterminé. Le cadre (12) est réalisé sous la forme d'une pièce moulée par compression, présentant une pièce profilée primaire (14) et une pièce profilée secondaire (15). La pièce profilée primaire (14) présente trois tronçons profilés (16-18), dont le premier (16) est adjacent au bord (13) de la vitre (12), et le deuxième et le troisième (17; 18) sont reliés chacun à un côté du premier tronçon (16) et sont adjacents à la zone superficielle de la vitre (11) limitrophe du bord (13) de cette vitre. La pièce profilée primaire (14) est en un matériau qui, sans se lier à la vitre (11), présente toutefois une résistance à la déformation suffisamment élevée pour obtenir une liaison rigide entre le cadre (12) et la vitre (11). La pièce profilée secondaire (15) est disposée dans une zone du profilé du cadre permettant que l'ensemble vitre (10) prenne appui sur un composant, et est réalisée en un matériau présentant une résistance à la déformation inférieure à celle du matériau de la pièce profilée primaire (14).
