-13- "WINDROW PICK-UP ASSEMBLIES FOR AGRICULTURAL MACHINES SUCH AS COMBINES AND THE LIKE" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Conventionally a relatively wide front draper as- sembly or a plurality of narrower drapers, having swath pick- up tines, deposits the swath onto a rear draper which in turn transfers it to the transverse combine cylinder. Grain heads and any grain separated from the heads during the pick-up process, falls between the rear of the front draper and the front of the rear apron and is lost. The present device positions the front of the rear apron underneath the rear side of the front swath pick-up draper so that any loose grain or heads is deposited upon the rear apron and is thus saved.
