A windshield assembly includes a windshield panel movable between an operative position and an inoperative position, and a coupling assembly coupled to the windshield panel, the coupling assembly including at least one coupling member that enables the windshield panel to move, e.g., between the operative position and the inoperative position. The coupling assembly may include a first end defining a mounting bracket and a second end defining a pivot point about which the windshield panel pivots, An inoperative position may be whop the windshield panel is moved forwardly or rearwardly, e.g., approximately 90°. The windshield panel may be configured out of polycarbonate plastic. The windshield assembly may further include a handguard element connected to the windshield panel.
