A windshield repair apparatus (10) and method are provided wherein a quick connect /disconnect bayonet (28, 30) mounting arrangement mounts an injector (12) to a support apparatus (14) which holds the injector relative to a windshield (160) for repair. A ramp surface may be provided with respect to the bayonet mounting arrangement for selective adjustment of the position of the injector relative to the support apparatus. A rubber stopper (70) with two passages is provided with the injector (12), one passage central (76) to the stopper (70) for receipt of a mechanical probe, and one passage offset from the central passage for receipt of pressures greater than or les than atmospheric pressure during use.
On décrit un appareil (10) ainsi qu'un procédé de réparation de pare-brise, appareil dans lequel un dispositif à monture à baïonnette (28, 30) et à accouplement/désaccouplement rapide sert à monter un injecteur (12) sur un dispositif (14) de support, lequel maintient l'injecteur en relation avec un pare-brise (160) à réparer. On peut monter une surface oblique par rapport au dispositif à baïonnette aux fins d'un réglage sélectif de la position de l'injecteur par rapport au dispositif de support. On a fourni avec l'injecteur (12) un bouchon (70) de caoutchouc pourvu de deux passages dont l'un (76), central, est destiné à recevoir une sonde mécanique et l'autre, décalé latéralement par rapport au passage central, sert à recevoir des pressions supérieures ou inférieures à la pression atmosphérique, lors de l'utilisation de l'appareil.
