ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Support for the wiper blades of a windshield wiper installation on a motor vehicle, particularly the support formed by metal members having a transversal cross section substantially U-shaped, comprising a main rod whose ends are articulated to the top of small bridges. Each end of the central rod is fork- shaped and provided with a pair of transversal and opposed teeth projecting within the fork. Each small secondary bridge is centrally provided with two side cuts and carries astride a gasket which is saddle-like shaped and provided with open side seats. Each fork astride mounted on the gasket engages with its teeth the seats of gasket and the cuts of the corresponding small bridge in order to form articulated connections between the ends of the main rod and the bridges with the interposition of a gasket made of a plastic material.
