The invention relates to a wing, especially the carrier wing of an aeroplane, said wing having an adaptable profile that extends in the wing chord direction (5) running essentially in the direction of flow, and in the wingspan direction (10), perpendicularly to the wing chord direction. The inventive wing comprises a first coating (55a) and a second coating (55b) opposite said first coating, in addition to a front edge region (11) and a rear edge region (12) in terms of the wing chord direction (5), and a wing tip region (14) at the end of the wing (1) in terms of the wingspan direction (10). According to the invention, a flexible region (15) arranged close to the end of the wing enables the profile of the wing tip region (14) to be adjusted in a direction containing both a component in the wing chord direction (5) and a component in the wingspan direction (10).

L'invention concerne une aile, notamment une aile porteuse d'un avion, au profil modifiable qui s'étend sensiblement dans la direction d'écoulement évoluant dans la direction de profondeur (5) de l'aile et perpendiculairement à cette dernière dans la direction d'envergure (10) de l'aile et qui présente un premier revêtement (55a) et un deuxième revêtement (55b) opposé au premier revêtement ainsi qu'une zone bordure avant (11) et une zone bordure arrière (12) par rapport à la direction de profondeur (5) de l'aile et une zone pointue (14) à l'extrémité de l'aile (1) par rapport à la direction d'envergure (10). Selon l'invention, une zone flexible (15) placée à proximité de l'extrémité de l'aile permet de régler le profil de la zone pointue (14) de l'aile dans une direction comportant une composante de la direction de profondeur (5) de l'aile tout comme une composante de la direction d'envergure (10) de l'aile.
