In the drying of footwear and hand-wear used outdoors in wintertime, it is known that as they are brought indoors snow, salt and sediment will drip from them, wetting and staining carpet and flooring as they are placed over the floor grills of the heating system of the common home. Many homes lack a forced air heating system and the occupants thereof must dry such items by some other means. This invention enables one to dry several items together, reducing the appearance of clutter. Heated air is directed under and around the wet items drying them efficiently asthey are suspended by the device. Water, salt and sediment, which may fall from such items, is collected by the device and contained in a removable tray. Water collected, is evaporated thereby aiding in humidifying the often too dry winter home. Items are warm as they are put on to be re-worn.

L'eau ainsi recueillie contribue à humidifier l'intérieur généralement trop sec des résidences familiales durant la saison hivernale. En outre, les articles ainsi séchés sont encore chauds au moment de leur réutilisation.
