The above ground pool support system is to stop the winter cover of the pool from collapsing into the pool causing water and debris build up. It also has the safety feature of protecting small children from getting trapped in the cover. The materials used are mostly light weight aluminium tubing and aluminium plating. The kit consists of: square tubing, aluminium plating, Styrofoam cone, Velcro patches, and twelve thumb screws. Since the tubing slides into each other, this allows you to go from the smallest pool size of eighteen feet to thirty feet in diameter all with the same kit. The system has a center height of ten to twelve inches above the top edge of the pool when installed giving it a gentle slope.
