ABSTRACT A wiper assembly associated with a planar surface comprising an arm which pivots about one end thereof, wiper mechanism attached at another end of the arm for wiping engagement with the planar surface, and moving mechanism connected to the arm between the ends of the arm in the vicinity of the pivoting end to allow for the movement of the arm between a first and second position so as to wipe the planar surface.
