Abstract A modified wiper blade and connector provide an improved connection between a wiper arm and a wiper blade. The wiper blade has a pair of spaced openings in the web of the blade, which openings are separated by a flat portion extending between the side walls of the blade. The connect- or has structure for fixedly connecting the connector to the flat portion of the blade whereby the arm will be permitted to pivot relative to the connector. Different elements are provided for maintaining the connector to the blade and for maintaining the arm to the connector.
