A wire clip supports a plurality of electrical wires and cables to a wallboard stud in a position spaced from the wallboard. The wiring clip includes a mounting member for securement to the stud. A cable support member extends from the mounting member for accommodating electrical cables. A cable securement member is frangibly formed with the cable support member to provide for detachment therefrom. Cable securement member, once detached from the cable support member, is secured to the cable support member in a manner which serves the wires therebetween to space the wires from the wallboard.
