ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A wire connector for connecting a pair of wires having an open-ended sleeve having a double-ended jamming cam therein mounted on an elastic pin which is secured against free rotation to at least one side wall of the sleeve whereby when wires are inserted between the ends of the jamming cam and sleeve walls against a bias exerted by the elastic pin, the cam moves into jamming engagement with the wires when tension is applied to them.
