The invention relates to spectacles with a wire frame (2) where the frame (2) has a mounting structure for the lenses (5) and two sidepieces (10) connected to the mounting structure by a hinge portion (11). According to the invention, the mounting structure of the two lenses (5) has loops (13) made in it, each loop (13) being elastically deformable in such a way that it can elastically and temporarily vary the amplitude of the area enclosed by the mounting perimeter of the frame (2) relative to the corresponding edge (18) of the lens (5) so as to facilitate the fitting of the lenses (5) in the frame rims.
