An antenna terminal positioning structure for a radio-frequency identification device having terminal pads mounted to one of its surface is obtained providing a wall assembly mounted to the device surface, the wall assembly having at least one wall surface extending from the device surface so as to be aligned with a target area on the electrical pad. The target is sufficiently large to receive the antenna terminal. An appropriate positioning of the antenna terminal on the pad is obtained by abutting the antenna terminal against the at least one wall surface. A mechanical attachment is activated between the antenna terminal and the positioning structure using a well-known process such as thermo-compression, ultra-violet (UV) or Laser soldering, mono or bi-components gluing etc., depending of the material of the positioning structure. The present positioning structure and attachment process are also applicable in other micro-electronic fields such as micro-sensors and micro- electronic machines (MEMs).
On obtient une structure de positionnement de borne d'antenne destinée à un dispositif d'identification de fréquence radio qui possède des plots de borne montés sur une de ses surfaces, par la fourniture d'un ensemble paroi monté sur la surface du dispositif, cet ensemble paroi possédant au moins une surface de paroi s'étendant à partir de la surface du dispositif de façon à être alignée avec une zone cible sur le plot électrique. Cette cible est suffisamment grande pour recevoir la borne d'antenne. On obtient un positionnement adapté de cette borne d'antenne sur le plot en plaçant cette borne d'antenne en butée contre cette ou ces surfaces de paroi. Une fixation mécanique est enclenchée entre la borne d'antenne et la structure de positionnement par un processus bien connu tel qu'un soudage par thermo-compression, par ultraviolet (UV) ou par laser, tel qu'un collage bicomposant etc., en fonction du matériau de la structure de positionnement. On peut aussi appliquer cette structure de positionnement et ce processus de fixation dans d'autres domaines de la micro-électronique tels que celui des micro-capteurs et des micro-machines électroniques (MEM).
