ABSTRACT The wire tap connector consists of a base member and a cap member which are flexibly joined and can be locked together. The base member has channels receiving the wires which are retained therein by ridges gripping the wire insulation while electrical connection is made by metal spikes in the cap member penetrating the wire insulation.
