After a pill is introduced into a subject, biological information on the subject is acquired via the pill. The biological information from the pill is input to a receiver via a reception antenna. The receiver has batteries (61, 62) and the batteries (61, 62) are switched from one to the other by a switching circuit (63) according to a remaining amount. Moreover, the receiver has an AC power source (64) and can charge the batteries (61, 62). The receiver output remaining amount is detected by a remaining amount detection circuit (65) and notified by a notification unit (66).
