A stove primarily for burning wood or coal, but the same principle could also be used on stoves or heaters designed for any other fuel, This stove is equipped with a conventional firebox with an overhead and underneath draft. But the present aparatus is also equipped with a heat exchange area totally encircling the firebox which keeps the firebox itself hotter as the firebox heat doesn't dissipate directly out into the room, Then as the smoke and heat leave the firebox they have to totally encircle it thus traveling a longer distance before leaving the stove and entering the chimney. This results in more heat dissipating out into the room from the same amount of fuel,
Cette invention concerne un poêle conçu pour brûler prioritairement du bois ou du charbon, mais dont le principe pourrait s'appliquer à des appareils brûlant d'autres combustibles. Cet appareil est équipé d'une chambre de combustion classique à tirage par le haut et par le bas. Mais il est également doté d'une surface d'échange de chaleur entourant complètement la chambre de combustion et qui maintient celle-ci à une température plus élevée du fait que la chaleur ne peut se dissiper directement dans la pièce. Le montage fait en sorte que la fumée et la chaleur sortant de la chambre de combustion doivent circuler tout autour de celle-ci et couvrir une plus grande distance avant de quitter l'appareil pour pénétrer dans la cheminée. Il en résulte qu'une plus grande quantité de chaleur parvient dans la pièce pour une même consommation de combustible.
