Abstract A wood connection is concerned with at least two wooden members glued together, having a distance piece fitted in between. Said distance piece only covers a relatively small part of the boundary face, the remaining major part being filled with permanently elastic glue. The mutual positioning of the wooden members is looked after by dowels and holes.
