The invention relates to a moulding compound made of a synthetic thermoplastic material and a reinforcing component, wherein the technical problem of producing a high-grade material at low production cost, particularly for use outside, is solved by using a synthetic polyester, preferably a polyethylenterephthalate (PET) as synthetic thermoplastic material and by using an organic filler material, preferably small-sized wood or wood fibres, as the reinforcing component. The invention also relates to the production of moulded items made from said moulding material and the moulded items themselves.

L'invention concerne une matière moulable constituée d'un thermoplastique et d'une composante de renforcement et permettant de résoudre le problème technique consistant à fournir, à des coûts de production faibles, un matériau composite de qualité supérieure, destiné notamment à une utilisation en extérieur. A cet effet, le thermoplastique utilisé est un polyester synthétique, de préférence un polyéthylène téréphtalate (PET), et la composante de renforcement est une matière de remplissage organique, de préférence de fins morceaux de bois ou des fibres de bois. L'invention concerne également la production de pièces moulées à partir de cette matière moulable, ainsi que les pièces moulées elles-mêmes.
