ABSTRACT A preservative for wood or other fibrous materials which contains copper and zinc acetate. The amount of copper acetate should be more than 45 to 50 percent of the mixture of copper and zinc acetate. Better preservative effects have been obtained and less concentrated solutions have to be used.
