The invention relates to wood siding for external and internal use. The inventive siding comprises multiple wood battens which are fixed with clamps or other elements to a support frame which is, in turn, fixed to the surface to be covered. The invention is characterised in that the edges of the longer sides of the battens are partially asymmetric and are equipped with complementary projections and grooves which can fit together such that an intermediate space is left therebetween. In this way, the upper projecting edge of one of the sections overlaps with the complementary projections of the adjacent batten, located below, thereby concealing the base on which the siding is applied and the accessories used to fix same from the visible face of said siding.

L'invention concerne un revêtement en bois pour extérieurs et intérieurs comprenant plusieurs lattes en bois fixées à l'aide de pinces ou d'autres éléments sur l'ossature de support fixée à la surface à recouvrir. Ce revêtement se caractérise par le fait que les bords des faces principales des lattes sont partiellement asymétriques, présentant une configuration avec des nervures et des rainures qui peuvent s'emboîter et laisser un interstice intermédiaire de façon que le bord supérieur saillant d'un des profilés recouvre les nervures correspondantes de la latte adjacente, situées en-dessous. Cet agencement permet de cacher le fond sur lequel est disposé le revêtement ou les accessoires de fixation du revêtement, depuis la face visible du revêtement.
