The invention relates to a wood substitute material for wood-encased pencils, comprising the following ingredients: 15 - 30 % by weight of at least one polymeric binder, 50 -- 80 % by weight of at least one organic filler, 0 - 20 % by weight of at least one inorganic filler, 0.5 - 5 % by weight of at least one adhesion promoter, 1 - 30 % by weight of at least one wax, 0 - 10 % by weight of at least one colour pigment, and 0 - 10 % by weight of at least one additive, the at least one adhesion promoter forming a chemical bond between the at least one polymeric binder and the at least one organic filler, a ratio of the at least one adhesion promoter and the at least one wax in the range from 1:2 to 1:6 being formed, and the sum of organic and inorganic filler being not more than 80 % by weight.

La présente invention concerne un matériau de remplacement du bois destiné à des crayons entourés de bois, le matériau comprenant les constituants suivants : 15 - 30 % en poids d'au moins un liant polymère; 50 - 80 % en poids d'au moins une charge organique; 0 - 20 % en poids d'au moins une charge minérale; 0,5 - 5 % en poids d'au moins un agent adhésif; 1 - 30 % en poids d'au moins une cire; 0 - 10 % en poids d'au moins un pigment de couleur; et 0 - 10 % en poids d'au moins un additif. Selon l'invention, le(s) agent(s) adhésif(s) forme(nt) une liaison chimique entre le(s) liant(s) polymère(s) et le(s) charge(s) organique(s), le rapport entre le(s) agent(s) adhésif(s) et la/les cire(s) vaut de 1:2 à 1:6, et la somme de la charge organique et de la charge minérale vaut au maximum 80 % en poids.
