The invention relates to a wood treatment solution which does not contain heavy metals and which contains an impregnation agent that is an alkali metal salt or alkaline-earth metal salt of formic acid or propionic acid. The invention also relates to a process for treating wood in order to improve its preservation, in which process wood is treated with the said wood treatment solution.
L'invention concerne une solution de traitement du bois ne contenant pas de métaux lourds et contenant un agent d'imprégnation sous la forme d'un sel de métal alcalin ou d'un sel de métal alcalino-terreux d'acide formique ou d'acide propionique. L'invention concerne également un procédé de traitement du bois permettant d'en améliorer la conservation. Ce procédé consiste à traiter le bois au moyen de ladite solution de traitement du bois.
