A method for hosting a word-based lottery game having a plurality of players is disclosed. A player selects a plurality of cells from a playslip and these cells will be converted to a plurality of letters and symbols by a lottery game machine. The player will use these letters and symbols along with one or more letter(s) drawn by the lottery to form words and compare these words with a list of words. For each formed word that is on the list, a point is awarded and extra bonus points may be awarded to some special words. The total points obtained by the player is compared with a prize table and the player is awarded a prize according to the prize table.
La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé permettant de tenir un jeu de loterie basé sur les mots qui possède une pluralité de joueurs. Selon l'invention, un joueur sélectionne une pluralité de cellules d'une fiche de jeu, lesdites cellules étant ensuite converties en une pluralité de lettres et de symboles par un appareil de jeu de loterie. Le joueur utilisera ces lettres et symboles avec une ou plusieurs lettres tirées par la loterie pour former des mots et comparer ces derniers à une liste de mots. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste ensuite : à attribuer un point pour chaque mot formé se trouvant sur la liste, et à attribuer des points de bonification supplémentaires pour certains mots spéciaux ; à comparer le nombre total de points obtenu par le joueur à une table de prix ; et à attribuer un prix au joueur sur la base de la table de prix.
