The invention relates to a process for working up a reaction mixture which is formed by ammoximation of a ketone by means of hydrogen peroxide and ammonia in homogeneous solution over a titanium-containing catalyst. The process comprises separating off the oxime product, discharging water of reaction and recirculating the solvent, wherein the oxime formed is separated off in the liquid phase using at least one liquid-liquid extraction in a ternary solvent system.
