To change a coaxial cable (3), the ends of a bypass cable (7) are inserted into the branch holes of the connectors (9). Then the coaxial cable (3) to be replaced is removed. Signals can be transmitted through the bypass cable (7) instead of the cable (3). Then a new coaxial cable (3A) is connected to the connectors (9) and the bypass cable (7) is removed. Thus, without stopping signal transmission, the coaxial cable (3) can be replaced with a new cable (3A).
