WORKBOOK PUBLISHING SYSTEM USING A SPREADSHEET ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A system for producing camera-ready copies for printing bound accounting and financial books and workbooks using the tabular template of a spreadsheet program in combination with formatting and data entry commands to assemble and fill financial tables. Formatting commands according to the invention operate the spreadsheet program to create date, explanation, and money columns for financial tables. Data entry commands according to the invention accept entry of a multi-digit number into a table cell, and distribute the digits of the number into cells of the table.
