WORKHOLDER FOR EDGE SHARPENER ABSTRACT A traveling band edge sharpener for sharpening knives, arrowheads, and the like, having an endless abrasive belt looped about a pair of pulleys one of which is power driven, and a detachable workholder for positioning the work in optimum position relative to the belt for sharpening on the belt and/or a hand manipulating sharpening device in optimum position relative to the work for subsequent finish sharpening of the work by hand after removal of the workholder and work from the machine or during an entire sharpening operation.
