A working clamshell blister package for a pliers or similar tool includes a pair of opposing mirror-image panels having recesses and joined along a common lower end to form a base portion. The base portion is provided with a pair of openings for accommodating the handles of the pliers and has a bridge formation located between the openings. When the opposing panels are placed in contacting relation, a compartment is formed in which the working portion of the pliers may be enclosed, with the junction of the pliers members being supported by the bridge formation. A pair of pliers contained in the package may be manipulated a specified extent by the customer prior to purchase without opening the package.
La présente invention se rapporte à un emballage de type blister double coque pour contenir la portion de travail d'une pince ou d'un outil semblable. L'emballage comprend une paire de panneaux opposés et symétriques comportant des creux et joints le long de leur extrémité inférieure commune en vue d'en former la base. Celle-ci présente deux ouvertures, par où sortent les manches de la pince, ainsi qu'un élément formant un pont entre les deux ouvertures. Les deux panneaux sont collés l'un sur l'autre et forment un compartiment pouvant enfermer la portion de travail de la pince, le pont supportant la pince au point de jonction de ses éléments. Avant l'achat, le client peut manipuler la pince ainsi emballée sans toutefois ouvrir l'emballage.
