ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The working fluid for traction drive comprises (A) a com- pound having, in a molecule, two decahydronaphthalene rings bonded either directly to each other or to the same or different carbon atoms in an alkane molecule or a compound having, in a molecule, one decahydronaphthalene ring and one cyclohexane ring bonded either directly to each other or to the same carbon atom in an alkane molecule and (B) a compound having two cyclohexane rings bonded either to the terminal carbon atoms of a C2-3 alkane molecule or to the carbon atoms of cyclopentane. The working fluid has a high traction coefficient with stability over a wide range of temperature, especially, in low temperatures.
